The Horsham Arun Badminton Academy is a part of the Horsham Arun Badminton Club, and is a place for young people to come and develop their talents and playing potential. It's a place for you to have lots of fun whilst reaching your playing dreams.
We welcome players of all standards from the age of 7 through to 17, and players are graded from junior level right up to Elite. Coaching and standards of play are tailored to each individual to ensure that they are maximising their own playing potential.
The Academy has an experienced team of professional coaches who can work with beginners right through all standards to Senior International level.
The Academy provides a complimentary development platform for county junior squad players as well as those wishing to break into the county set up. The Academy is working alongside Sussex Junior Badminton to support the development of young players in all aspects of technical and physical play.
Our ambition is to help you become the player that you want to be and our aims are quite simple:
- To provide quality coaching for all skill levels
- To create a pathway to excellence
- To work closely with existing coaching and county practices
- To promote badminton to all young people
- To work with players on an individual basis to properly nurture their badminton careers
