27th August 2008 - Match Practice - Thursday 28th August
Match practice for the 2008/09 season will begin on Thursday 28th August. Anyone wishing to try out for teams and practice pairings should come along. It is expected that most matches will be played on a Thursday once the season starts and that match practice will continue on Thursdays when there is not a match. The Tuesday club night will not be available from the 9th September as a new Academy session will commence.

Horsham Arun Badminton Club ran an unprecedented event at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley on Sunday 24th February. See the events section for more details.
27th February 2008 - HABC Named as England's First Badminton Performance Centre!
BADMINTON England have announced that Horsham Arun is the first Performance Centre nationally. This achievement is the culmination of months of dedicated hard work by Horsham Arun Badminton Club, its members and volunteers. HABC's coaching staff have been instrumental in working with BADMINTON England's Performance Team in developing the PC Coaching and Mentoring Handbook. The Performance Centre environment has been established to operate at local community level to drive forward badminton in clubs and schools. 27th February 2008 - HABC Players Win Norfolk Open Men's Doubles
Congratulations to Colin Dow and Will Hilton-Jackson for winning the Men's Doubles section at the Norfolk Open on the 16th February. Colin and Will won the final 22-20, 21-18 against first seeds Graham Wells and Ian Murphy. In addition to this Will got to the quarter finals of the Men's Singles where he lost closely to Simon White 21-17, 21-17.
